I bought this back when it was a preorder item, and I have the metal handles and the long shoulder strap. The details on this bag are really cute, and I always get compliments when I bring it out starting in October. The metal handles can be removed, but the screws are really tiny, so you have to be quite careful. Construction of the bag is great and really solid -- in several years of (light) use, it hasn't sustained any wear or tear and it's kept its shape even when stored in my closet for most of the year. Very nice novelty purse!
