I am a very oddly proportioned woman so I am very glad this dress is able to be custom sized. This is the first dress I customed to fit me, and I am so glad I did. I got the red JSK version and the color is very deep and vivid. The dress was built to fit my measurements and came with wearing ease for a shirt to be paired with it. The gold alice and wonderland print is painted directly onto the fabric to create a gold silhouette drawing of each character. It is a pretty combination. It has pintucks pleats on the front of the bodice that are mirrored on the straps of the JSK, which also have small ruffles. The bodice also has back shirring. The hemline also has the pintuck pleats above the 2 layer ruffle. The bottom layer of the ruffle is the solid material of the dress body, and the top ruffle is a thin lace. The lace is a lower quality lace but it isn't supper noticeable unless closely inspected. The material of the dress is a thick good quality cloth and it is lined, so it is a bit heavy and will probably be warm for the winter. The bodice also has a line of rose shaped dummy buttons that are very pretty and seem to be sewn on well. The dress has a side seam zipper for putting on and taking off. My only complaints about the dress are that the zipper doesn't have a hook and eye to make zipping it easier, and for a side seam zipper this is an essential, however, I can easily remedy that. The zipper also sticks a little at the waistband because of how thick the material is right there. I am hoping that the more I use it, the easier it will become to zip. The only permanent complaint I have is the lining of the dress. On the right side seam of the skirt the lining is sewn into the seam from the waistband all the way to the bottom. The seems on the inside are surged for longevity and are sewn well. Also this dress doesn't include a petty layer on the inside so its puffyness is based on what you put under it. I actually like it the way it is though, because the material and shape of the dress can be worn without just as easily as with. I am very glad I bought this dress and it fits well, better than I dared hope.
