Prior to owning this, I had only extravagant lolita dresses that I had reserved for wearing out to special occasions - parties, meetups, etcetera - basically, only stuff that I would feel would be too much for wearing to work every day. So I was in desperate need of a way to incorporate my gothic lolita style into my everyday attire, and let me tell you, this hit a sweet-spot I hadn't expected it to. After ordering the skirt, I was afraid that the design would be a bit too busy and feared I wouldn't have anything to wear to match with it, however after receiving and wearing the skirt a few times I can honestly say I'm in love with it. The design is very graphic, and the colours are more appealing than I had initially thought. The fabric is very silky, and flows really nicely (especially if I don't wear a petticoat with it, which I don't during my 8 hour shifts at my retail job). In addition to this, it pairs really nicely with a nice button-up blouse, a flowy, witchy blouse, or even just a tank top and cardigan for a much more modern-casual look. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the quality of this skirt and I look forward to wearing it on a daily basis!
